Celtic star Odsonne Edouard is the subject of plenty of interest from clubs around Europe. That’s not news. Well said, he’s not been great this year but we should still be looking to get as much money as you can
Cheers John. I can’t get my head around wanting him to go. He hasn’t been incredible this season, but he’s still a match-winner and the back-ups just aren’t good enough, IMO.
Nah we need to keep him for the rest of the season, if we want to win the cup for example we’ve got a much better chance with Eddie still here
Take the money and move on… his heart is not in it…our expectations of him were high pre season but he hasn’t come close to being the player he was last year. The reasons for this car crash of a season are many and varied , Edouard’s performances are a significant part of it. Goals change games. He has massive talent but for me he has a lack of desire. I might be proved wrong but chances are that he will be a career under achiever.
I’d take the money if we were going to buy a good replacement, but there’s no guarantee of that
Understood and agreed. Obviously depends on the system the ( new ) manager want to play but I like, mobile , work ethic before we get to ability and goals.
