There is always the Man City owned but playing at Schalke Japanese international Ko Itakura whose contract I believe is running out at the end of the season

We need someone to take Starfelt’s place so that one is wide open.
I’m of the opinion that Carter-Vickers is the best centre half we have and we should go all out to make him a permanent.
With that though, we need quality cover.
Who knows what nick Jullien will come back in (if ever!!!), we still need 2 to 3 more quality defensive options to start building our base to move forward
