Marshall should never have been let go in first place. His heroics against Barca on his debut at nineteen-years of age was no accident. He had a legend Celtic career ahead. Strachan stabbed the kid on the shins to save his own mortgage. It worked only for Don Goreeddy. David proved his quality. He was robbed of a long history of Celtic winning moments Artur, Fraser, Craig, and now Joe experience. Marshall may well have been better given his experience at Camp nou and Celtic upbringing. I’d be much happier seeing him on the current Celtic bench. Bain is a good third choice.
