A game of two halves

It was clear for everyone to see that Celtic were way off the mark against Hearts in the first half.
I think It’s understandable considering some of our players had jet lag, and it showed.
Most of the starting eleven were involved in international duty in some form, with little time in between for a bit of RNR.
We were fortunate to enter half-time with a score of 0.0, as they had two or three excellent scoring opportunities. An in form team may well have taken those chances, but luckily, this is a team low in confidence facing the league leader, so it’s not a good combination.
But on saying all that, BR being the top Manager he is, gave them a good talking to at half-time, which worked wonders because we looked like a different team in the second half.
The urgency was back, the quick passing was back, and the slack passing was eliminated.
That is the sign of true champions, when things aren’t going well they can go to plan B or even plan C.
Also, having a strong bench is crucial, and it showed when the subs were made because they were involved in all the goals in some form. A well a deserved win with some brilliant goals to boot, no pun intended.
