Joey Barton arrived to fanfare that Ayebrokes the MSM and The 2angers support proclaimed he was going to run the League such was his pedigree.
First game he wasnutmegged by a wee 18 year old ginger haired Hamilton player and it went downhill from there.
The last image of Barton I can remember was him in the net with balloons as a 5th Celtic goal went in.
The Ramsey they are getting has hardly kicked a ball in anger in 3 years.
Juve have stated he struggled with the pace of the game in Italy and that’s why it hasn’t worked out?
Well it just so happens the Celtic side under Ange are based all around pace and relentless pressing.

He’s been a good player certainly in his prime top class but hasn’t been close to that for some time. In a Wales team with one truly world class player in Bale he excelled, at Juve not so good.
The Hun need the CL money or else it’ll be yet another new club. 1 and out.

In case anyone is still in any worry mode, Ramsey has been hawked around the globe by Juve, the Orcs are paying less than 10% of his wages. He’s a good player when he plays but 31 and injury prone.
I still have faith in the Huns medical team, they turned down Big Bad John yet approved Daniel Prodan, though Murray knew he was done, good tax loss though £2.2m.
This is a panic decision to appease the brethren, just remember Tore Andre Flop £12m or many other injury prone Hun signings ( see Prodan above) some who never played. Filip Sebo anyone ?
We’ve got the momentum and I don’t see this transfer changing that.

I totally agree that the hype around this guy is quite OTT for our new Glasgow city rivals.
1 player (if fit enough)is not going to all of a sudden change things for the whole of Scottish football and make TRIFC2012 steam roller everyone in their path.
Aside from all that though, we have to just keep our heads down and keep plugging away at firstly making up the gap at the top then continuing on with it to hopefully bring our trophy back

I think if Ramsey has a major say in the game in Seville it would probably make his Loan worthwhile just for that one game.
I oiled not put it past him to have the game of his career and get himself the move back to England he evidently craves.
I think from his point f view,getting game time and getting fit proving he still has a lot to offer on the European stage will have made his journey to Mordor worth the step down from Juventus.
Perhaps Eddie Howe is watching for example?
