I think 12 new faces is more than enough to be going on with, assimilation of the new guys into the squad and Ange’s way of playing is now the priority. We need to be ready to be ruthless in the January window. Those who are never going to be involved must be moved on, those who are must be augmented where necessary. It’s only after January that I think we can fairly judge Ange on what he’s building. On that subject, I hope he’s sorted out his immediate support crew, is he sticking with JK and Gavin Strachan etc ? If not then I’ll expect to see new faces in that department before the end of the year.
What about the Director of Football role ? Again I expect to see movement on that before the next transfer window.
