I was thinking the same and read it a few times to see if I had misinterpreted🤫.
Regardless who Ange took off, it was for everyone to see that Mikey just isn’t going to cut it in the first team. He had the potential, but continuous injuries have had a big impact on his development and we’re not in a position to carry players. Maybe worth putting him out on loan for a season or two, but if there’s no improvement, then it’s best to cut ties and let him make a career elsewhere.
Ajeti did make more of an effort, but I feel his time is up also.
Plenty for Ange to think about, but I would suspect he’ll have to let a few go to make space for the ones he wants to bring into the club.

Think you are correct. We need better players . We need our wide men and our midfielders to get better at defending. Carter Vckers needs someone dominant in the air to help him out.
Absolutely. I’m probably sounding like I have the scatter gun out, but I would seriously consider the future of McCarthy as well. Another injury prone player and from what I’ve seen, he’s not quick enough for the football we play. I don’t get all this STAR in England, as he never was. He played with some mid-table teams, but can never remember him being a Scholes or even a Joe Ledley. I think there’ll be a few ins & puts in January, but it’s not a good window and believe we’ll see more come & go in the summer window. Japan finishes their season at the end of the year, so possibly an avenue that Ange wants to revisit. I don’t think anyone would mind another Furuhashi😜
