Ange Postecoglou appears to have created the family-feel environment at Celtic Park that he’s been after this season. Ever since arriving at the club, Ange has stressed that he wants a special kind of dressing-room bond between the players. Back in November, the manager stated that he wants the Celtic stars to think of themselves…
The stand out comment from Taylor here is that Starfelt played his first league game without even training. That really puts his initial struggles into perspective and shows his strength of character.
You could ask why Ange was playing him in that situation and not giving him a couple of weeks to get up to speed, but if you remember we were playing young Dane Murray at that time and although he did very well in the most part, he was getting shown up a little and a few bad performances in the first team at that stage of his career could’ve been really bad for his development. So up stepped the big Swede to take the flak if his performances weren’t up to scratch yet as a more experienced player who could take it on the chin.
That’s my story between the lines anyway
