Ange Postecoglou and Celtic have had their fair share of squad injury issues this season. But in the final five games, the manager has two attacking weapons to utilise at the same time for the first time in months. Both Giorgos Giakoumakis and Kyogo Furuhashi are fit and available to play. They’ve had overlapping seasons…
What is it with the use of the word “unleash” in reports. It’s just a rubbish word & inappropriate to use in speaking about human beings. Can’t pundits not just use “start” or similar. Last I checked there were no dogs playing for us. Rant over.
Hail Hail
There is a possibility or an opportunity to mix things up in the attack with Giakoumakis,Kyogo and Maeda all fit and firing without altering the System too much.
A 4-3-3 with both Maeda and Kyogo playing as inside Forwards behind Giakoumakis instead of being deployed as Wingers cutting in could see all 3 being utilised more in an attacking sense.
Obviously having two fit wingbacks overlapping and creating width is a must rather than inverting the fullbacks coming in through the middle as Ange has done much of the Season.
Ralston and Scales would be the obvious Solution given Juranovic is out so it could be done.
He did alter the set up earlier in the Season away to St.Johnstone by fielding a much changed 3-5-2 (due mainly to the fact we only had 1 winger fit -Abada) so it’s not too much of change given it can still be done within the same basic shape 4-3-3.
Hopefully we have as easy a game as what TRIFC 2012 had today against an alleged “top six” team.
Motherwell an absolute embarrassment with their pitiful effort, think the rest of the season will be a cake walk for us.
Standard penalty though to get TRIFC 2012 through, some things never change eh
They’ll get at least one penalty per game now. The MiB will do everything they can to get the TRIFC 2012 that CL group place, if they don’t get it stand by for another reincarnation.
Hail Hail
