Absolutely intriguing. Against AZ I think it will be more of the same.

Playing that way at Ibrox and winning will further endorse the approach. Being turned over will have the opposite affect.

As stated they are strong in wide areas which are sparsely populated in our new system. This concerns me.

Surely there needs to be versions on the main front foot system that affords a bit of extra protection for our central defence.

Can’t wait…….come on Celtic HH

looking forward to it more than I would’ve 4 months ago.
we have to go at them, we have no other option when you consider that although the defence is getting better game on game, I don’t think we’re nearly strong enough o hold them off for 90 minutes. they showed a Celtic park that they can play and be extremely dangerous.
its also the only way we know how to play. if we play our natural game we should be ok, but if we try to defend, we’ll get hammered as we don’t know hoe to play that way.

I seem to remember the manager of a major European team who played an attacking style of football, saying something about not caring how many goals the opposition scores as long as his team scores more. Sounds like a similar approach. I fear the defensive line may be stretched this week.
