Ange Postecoglou has backed striker Giorgos Giakoumakis to put his penalty miss behind him and perform for Celtic on Thursday night. Giakoumakis had a golden chance to score an injury-time winner from the penalty spot against Livingston today, but hit as poor a penalty as you’ll see at Celtic Park. It was all too easy…

40 crosses John but how many were actually anywhere near him. Penalty was poor but hay hoe Cal mac missed not so long ago. As for the game Livi parked the bus and it stayed there, doged defending and some Bobby magic (that makes fouls none fouls ( for Celtic) in his own little m*sonic mind) made them worthy of a point.

Drunk? What time is it ffs ? Sober up.

Yep that’s the truth but it doesn’t fit the fantasy football narrative around today’s game. He was either surrounded by 3 or 4 man mountains ,or, the ball was flying over everyone’s head,or,it was flying into the box at a rate of knots. Everyone was rotten, just one of those days.

Yep bit as usual the knee jerk reactions are beyond a joke.
Livingston came to defend a point and Bobby Madden spent 90 minutes ensuring they could defend as strong as they wanted without conceding fouls in key areas of the pitch.
Plenty fouls out side their box went unchallenged by him.
The guy who raised his hands in the box left him no options he had to blow.
Giakoumakis has slotted plenty penalties away at Venlo and no doubt in training so he’s opted for the striker to take it before a ball was kicked.
Giakoumakis has done himself no favours however by hitting such a poor one at a critical moment in a game that hinged on it.
