Criticism of the board here is well off target. The board know more about a fish supper than they do football. Lawwell is the problem at our club. He has stayed 10 years too long and in all that time he has undone all the good work of his first seven years. The last ten years has been all about PL rewarding major shareholders and directors with large dividends whilst keeping costs at a minimum. The fans looked over it because of the domestic success . Lawwell has a bee in his bonnet about making his project John Kennedy manager of the club because he wanted to go down in history as his mentor. Lawwell was not happy about working with Roger’s because he could not control him and he was not his choice. Something tells me Lawwell has intentionally sabotaged the Howe deal because he is a control freak who is intent on JK becoming manager maybe not this time but probably next time.
