B/G were what, 3 goals from 4 shots on target? Brutally efficient but they really just looked to counter, they will sit in at home too I think.

We definitely need to be more ruthless in the box, hopefully GG’s last outing with signal the opening of the floodgates, he seems like a confidence player, put the ball within 2 yards of him with pace & back him to win the duel. If Ange wants to go all in to salvage this tie, O’Riley didn’t seem to work with Tam in the midfield, Hatate surely starts with either Matt or Rogic (I’d start Matt with Rogic on after an hour or so) with CalMac sitting deep & denying loose 50/50 balls coming out of our back third. Maeda should be on the left if he’s starting, his pace can get him past guys in the last third with just a poke & chase, seems simple but that raw pace is difficult to defend, if he can do that 5 or 6 times per half & whip a quick low ball in to the area 3 or 4 times from that then he’s earning his wage imo & I’d be happy for him to do it every week.

This tie isn’t over yet, it won’t be easy but it isn’t over.

Grumpy are you taking the mick…
