Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has admitted he probably should have started Kyogo Furuhashi through the middle of the Hoops attack against Rangers in today’s derby. However, he’s told reporters that James Forrest’s absence meant his tactical options were limited. At half-time, many supporters were crying out for Kyogo to be moved in off the left-hand…
I personally had wished for Edouard not be involved at all. He has nursing his petted lip for over a year now and looks so lazy and uninterested. I would be surprised if any club takes him during this window. I hope they do though. I would rather have someone with a little less ability but desire to perform and fight for us.
100% agree, if eddy was even interested that ball was in the back of the net. different game thereafter. HH
They need to get rid of French Eddie, for whatever reason his heart is not in it.
If Edouard had scored that tap in it would have been all praise. The vagaries of football!
You might be right, shame he didn’t give us a chance to praise him & clear up those vagaries.
His body language & attitude declined after that miss, he became very finger pointy & gesticulating, had a very furrowed brow from that point on, as if his awful attempt at a simple side foot finish from six yards wasn’t his responsibility, as if it was the delivery & general play of everyone else around him was the cause of his awful attempted finish, pure poison.
I’ve backed him on here & other platforms to get better & have even stated that I’ve felt that him staying on & winding down his contract (if he could find some form) wouldn’t be the biggest disaster if it helped us win the league & get automatic CL football next year but then again I’d of backed my mum to bury that chance from there tbh, let alone someone earning 20k a week whose sole purpose in that team is to do so.
I feel our support have every reason to be disappointed by his display in front of goal today. He didn’t pack a sad & refuse to shut down, he actually showed more energy than we’ve seen from him previously but that aside I think his time at Parkhead is well & truly done.
Give me Kyogo anytime over Edouard … i watched his last game for his club in Japan and he gave 100% and left on a high … he arrives here and wants to be involved immediately even at tynecastle if i was Ange id be looking over there in the next window for more hungry honest hard working players … no more moody french players who come here to sell themselves only.
