Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has admitted frustration after the decision to bring Kyogo into the game for the injured Albian Ajeti on Thursday night. Postecoglou named 11 changes to his team to face Real Betis, clearly taking into account that the game didn’t mean much and his regulars had to be protected for the matches…
He has admitted frustration but he does not admit he made a horrendous error. In fact, exactly the opposite!
He has openly said he has “no regrets” for bringing Kyogo on to replace the totally useless and ineffective Ajeti!
Ange does not admit to making mistakes and like him or not, this is a serious issue and WILL cost him his job, but more importantly will cost us trophies, titles and millions of pounds!
I don`t think it will cost him his job however the repercussions are there to be seen… Who will be the dominant force in Scottish football could well be determined by Champions League qualification.
Kyogo should have been wrapped in cotton wool. I think we all know that.
Feel free to jump to conclusions. Just beat Betis with a B team got half a mil and you’re carrying on about hyperthetical costing trophies & income.
Kyogo will be back sooner than we think
Even if Ange didn’t use Kyogo on Thursday he would have probably gotten injured during training as it is just as intense as a match day so we would have been without him regardless. These are the situations we have to get through in order to win anything in Scotland anyway we scored 3 against united and if I remember correctly Kyogo wasn’t on the end of any of them.
Ben, half a mil is peanuts compared to potential Champions League income. Were 4 points behind and have to win all our league matches until the break, also the small matter of a cup final. I don
t want Rangers in the Champions League!
