Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has delivered his verdict on James McCarthy today as he hailed his performance against Aberdeen. McCarthy came into the starting XI to bank only his 4th start for the club since arriving in the summer on a free transfer. The Irishman has received plenty of criticism for failing to step up…

Keep forgetting Rogic will come back into the side at some point.HH

James McCarthy today brought the composure he was signed to bring.
His stability today was the reason McGregor was able to get forward more than he has been.
We lose too much when McGregor has to play deep. This became glaringly obvious today with McCarthy taking the holding role freeing Callum up to be creative knowing Jamesie had it all under control behind him.
We have missed Broonie but we got signs today that McCarthy has arrived.
He needs minutes!
The manager also needs to reduce the number and poor quality of substitutes he uses.
Mikey arrived with promise but simply doesn’t have what it takes. Accept that and move on!
Abada is in over his head. Hopefully Forrest can come good.
