Bitton is available for Motherwell so that’s solved. CalMac is our Captain no doubts. He’s a worthy successor to Broony, nothing like the same character but equally qualified.
Captain my Captain.
Hail Hail.
Never in any doubt for me if the swelling was down.
You play fitba with yer brains and feet not your face.
No way he was going to miss that game no chance.
Dare I say it, I think CalMac will prove to be an even better captain than Broony. Now that he’s got the armband full time he’s added a level of grit to his game that wasn’t there before. (Maybe his leadership qualities were stifled slightly with such a big character as Scott Brown ahead of him) I love Scott Brown, especially for his ability to agitate the opposition, but it seems like McGregor can agitate to the same level while oozing class. One of the many great things about our beloved club is they know how to pick/make a captain.
Broony was a magnificent Captain and led by example as a true leader should.
Calmac is a far superior footballer though and fast developing into that leader.
