Celtic captain Callum McGregor has been bizarrely called out by ex-Hoops striker Frank McAvennie for his role in the penalty miss on Saturday. Giorgos Giakoumakis spurned a glorious spot-kick opportunity in the last minute that would’ve sent Celtic to the top of the Premiership. In the end, we had to settle for a 0-0 draw…
My wee grandson could have hit the spot kick better than the Greek! He was poor the whole game and should never been allowed near the penalty. Woeful performance and we were a team with no guts and no idea how to change things! Manager has to get criticised for his role in that shambles of a home display. We’re all talking about who should and shouldn’t have taken the penalty and are missing the opportunity to call-out the glaring deficiencies in our managers tactical awareness!
Again. After Saturday I give up with Ange. But on 67HH. All we will hear is the seasons not finished yet. He’s been a great manager in Asia NOT. He’s won leagues with every team he’s managed NOT every season. And as said by the Australian football supporters on here. He’s shown what they say he’s not at all good with the defence, and formation a one-track mind. It’s the players who know how to defend not the manager’s set-up, but he’ll take the credit for it.
