Seems a miss but unlikely to be at the McGinn level.
Given the sh** they were left the window has been managed well.
Even making all the right moves this faf up is going to take a few windows to fix.
A major success is getting rid of the players who didn’t want to be here and one that was unfortunately a misbehaviour…
All in all good so far….HH
But even so, we still needed cover in the central midfield position before the window closed.
A chance to solve our midfield cover problem for absolute buttons. Yet it’s a chance passed up by Celtic.
@david.walton we do not have a cover problem and especially not in midfield where we are drowning in midfielders!
I was informed St Johnstone were looking for 2-3 million for him but to go for a million maybe they just did not want him to go to Celtic HH
Yeah I thought he was priced at 3 million and Celtic baulked at that, how come he went to Preston! for 1.2million, have I missed something?
They mustn’t of wanted him to go to a league rival, clubs do that sometimes, stick an extra tax on top of the fee if he moves to a club in the same league.
