With Celtic having much more difficult looking challenges ahead, Ange Postecoglou should take the decision and rest Kyogo Furuhashi on Saturday. Granted, that won’t be the most popular decision. It’s something that would see the County centre-backs breathe a sigh of relief if they see it on the teamsheet. Something that would undoubtedly make us…

Injuries and suspensions happen throughout the season hopefully we have a good enough squad to cope also hope Kyogo is ok HH.

100% agree and took some criticism when I said the same on another story.

Kyogo limped off against *the Raijurs and now limped off again. I wouldn’t even bench him and give him as much rest as possible. Would also rest (wherever reasonably possible) other players coming back from international duty

I don’t see Furuhashi being deployed as a 9 at Celtic for the simple reason is he didn’t arrive one from Japan.
I see him being deployed behind Giakoumakis in the Supporting role as we have seen Édouard previously behind Griffiths and Stokes behind Hooper.
I feel his work rate and willingness to track back to retain possession will not only help out the midfield but also Giakoumakis in front in terms of making more space for him leading the line.
Perhaps the sale of Christie was to facilitate this setup given there would be no need for a 10 with Kyogo effectively doing that job?
I think Giakoumakis is probably better equipped for the physicality needed in the Scottish game as the wee man will be booted tae France every game if he’s deployed up front on his own.

@CyanOBacteria, in the 4-3-2- is easy. What with the way, we are playing in the 4-3-3. Moving Turbull back to what he is a central midfielder. It’s a lot better for him to see the passes.
