Josip is a right back that is equally as good on the left thus he’s slotted in there! I’m not saying Tony Ralston is better than him but he deserves his place in the team; Tony has been our most consistent player all season. Josip is better than him at left back and perhaps anyone else in our squad at present so it’s a no brainier to have both in the side. Think back to Danny McGrain arguably the best right back Scotland and Celtic have produced but he had to, with no qualms about it, play left beck for his country to accommodate another great right back in Sandy Jardine!
