The hierarchy of St Johnstone were probably thinking what most such bodies in Scotland think, anyone but Celtic. Even at £3m this one for me was a no brainer. Mind you I remember a similar young Hibee all action midfielder being tracked and secured for £4.4m …he went on to be our second most successful captain ever.
A major miss this window IMHO.
