Pleased with the win. Jota goal was superb. Generally though I thought we overplayed the ball in the final third and we were too afraid to shoot at times. Poorest performances I’ve seen from Kyogo, Hatate and Maida. Greg Taylor stood out for me. We looked a bit exposed at the back at times and I think there’s a need for a defensive midfielder to allow Cal Mac to go forward. Obviously, this was the first competitive game of the season so there’s plenty of rust, but we were too slack at times and wasteful in front of goal. We will certainly get much better as we grow into the season…
