Would hope that we are bringing in a centre-back this month, even on loan, rather than getting rid of one. Even if that one was Duffy, who has been poor.
Today is Robbie Brady’s birthday and they were showing footage of his goal for Ireland against Italy in the Euros. It reminded me of who was in the heart of the defence that unforgettable night…Shane Duffy. Duffy was superb that night and in many games for Ireland.
I thought he looked very composed in the game against Hibs on Monday (and recently). Yes he made a weak clearance for their goal but he should never have been put under pressure from his goalie.
He’s a decent defender and has regularly faced world class strikers both internationally and in the Premiership. The guy has had a dreadful year personally and that hasn’t helped with the debacle this year. Would love the big man to stay and prove himself.

I do agree he has improved slightly, but I just can’t see him at Celtic next season. You could say that about a lot of players though.
I agree absolutely. Eddie and Ntcham have been the biggest disappointments for me. Both look like they don’t want to be there.
