The Celtic Trust have made a plea to shareholders to support a resolution aiming for greater transparency and a more accountable process for the Board. The Trust, which has repeatedly stated its misgivings with the Celtic hierarchy, are concerned. Mainly, by the standards and processes of hiring executives at the club. Despite a tide of…

The only way to get the Celtic most want is to take Control of Celtic.
The 50+1 model in Germany is the obvious Solution to the problem.
We have a guy step forward in Roger Mitchell who has openly declared he would love to buy Desmond out ,take control of the Club and give Supporters what they deserve?
Well the obvious solution to that is he leads Supporters in a revolution to buy them out and we collectively take control.
That way you have a Board who not only has the interests of Emotional Investors (us) but also the expertise of Financial Investors.
You simply employ people who are very good at their job to do the jobs that are required to run a successful Club.
If they don’t then you replace them.
No Bonus Culture.
No Secrets
No Hidden Agendas.
Pure Transparency and a return to values which Celtic was built upon.
Win ,win for all concerned.
Someone should put this to Roger Mitchell because if he is as serious about giving Supporters the Club they want I cannot see why he would reject Fan Ownership of the 50+1 model as has seen to be so successfully embraced in Germany.
Celtic can be much more than it currently is with a bit of clear thinking and a whole new approach to the lifelong issues of Board v Supporters.

If the Board are Supporters then we would only have ourselves to blame.
We have the numbers.
Roger knows this.

There are people who moan just for the sake of moaning and will find fault with anything when no fault is to be found. The board could award every shareholder a bonus of £10,000 each and someone would find fault. I know for fact that many Celtic supporters who answered Fergus’s call by purchasing shares at £65 x10 when the shares prospered sold them at the drop of a hat and made a tidy profit, may seem as im having a go at them but im not because in simple term thats business. Some bought to be part of the club and proudly still posess them framed on their wall at home and no amount of money would prise them away.Im not in it for the money i’m in it to be part of Celtic and I think the Board has done a great job , may not agree with everything but they are there to steer Celtic in the right direction and to that end they will achieve it.
