Yes Stephen has done superbly for the most part. This season will do him a great deal of good. However if or when Chris Julien comes back he must surely drop down the pecking order. He is young and if he stays will be a player for us in the near future. There is talk of fringe players. Well i suppose we must call James McCarthy a fringe player. Did you see his display this afternoon ? Probably the best player on the field. Real quality. Superb passing ability. Wonderfully combative. Time for him to be given a first team permanent place… The rest are not quite good enough.
