Beloved former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has laid waste to critics of manager Ange Postecoglou. Reacting to the hysteria over recent results, Sutton – who never tends to hold back – reacted with typical vigour to criticism of the Greek-Aussie boss. Postecoglou, who said he “loves” the kind of scrutiny he’s under, was parachuted into…

Well said Chris but terrible it has to be said can’t believe the people who are on our managers back get Europe out the way international to injuries how much time has this man had on coaching fronts this thing you need your own coaching staff he has got a coaching staff science fitness man moved on going by injuries not much good anti does not like what he sees in his team the will go three 5 managers john kennedy worked under Rodgers wanted him at Leicester but stuck with celtic not like many of our players who swear they love the club lot of x players have let celtic down big time just say money is better cause no matter who you go to will never best running out wearing hoops on a full house biggest surprise Tierney leaving for money yes nothing more arsenal wont won anything

Brilliant response from Sutton.

Ange should not be the scapegoat for the penny pinching that has went on before his tenure trying to scrape over the line with 10-in-a-row.

To walk into a squad with half of them looking to leave in a heartbeat cannot be easy for any modern day manager.

He has cleared the ones who had spat the dummy and is now WORKING to try and build another solid unit to take over our domestic game once again.

Ange can only work with what he has, the players need to buck up and dig in if they have any value for our great club :four_leaf_clover:

Well said Chris Sutton, any new manager needs time to implement a new system, even with a successful team, never mind the ■■■■ show Ange inherited! It is widely recognized that the majority of new players acquired were not Anges choice, but were identified prior to his arrival. The main culprits in terms of under performing are players who were already at the club as opposed to new players, the exception being Callum McGregor. On top of that we have had a horrendous run of injuries, most of which are to key players. Come the January window, if the board have any value, they will fund the manager, who I believe will get the players required to get us on the right track. Personally I would go for the AZ Alkmaar captain which would help free McGregor to play a more forward role when we are in possession. Anyway with a fully fit squad and a couple of quality additions, I for one am more than confident in Ange and in the style of play he is going to create. HH. COYBIG.

Just another quick thing. The majority of negative press on Ange and what he is trying to build is driven by a lot of people who actually fear what is unfolding. They see the shoots of new life growing in our team and they are worried. The thing is, most supporters see it too and hopefully will stand by Ange. It’s never nice seeing your team lose, but if it is for the greater good…

Great from Sutton and also great to see some more positive comments on here. Proves the majority of our fans aren’t reactive bawbags and that we are backing the team and manager 100%. If you look on here after a poor result you’d think half our fans want the manager out already.

Chris you were a professional player you would know footballers or any working man if a man is getting more than you doing the same cause if you didn’t do your work he won’t be finding it easy to do his so I suppose a win bonus must be good let player know need top talent win
