Chris Sutton has provided his immediate reaction to Rangers vs Celtic after a miserable derby defeat at Ibrox. Celtic came up short in a 1-0 defeat in Govan thanks to Filip Helander’s second-half header. The Hoops had chances to win the game, but simply didn’t take them. The result means the positive atmosphere surrounding the…
“The result means the positive atmosphere surrounding the club has been ripped out of us in a demoralising afternoon.” What is that all about ? Somebody else with totally unrealistic expectations after such a short time. Speak for yourself when you write that not “us”.
I’ve not seen one mention of the kyogo penalty he beat mcroory to the ball and was tripped up dear god what is it people are watching
Kennedy is the man who is the defence coach zonal marking send him oot with Odsonne Edouard and Christie rank rotten the 3 of em.
Ronnie D gave JK responsibility for zonal marking experiment that turned into a disaster. If AP gives JK the responsibility for zonal marking he will deserve all that comes his way. Its just amazing how a club that was miles ahead of rangers 2/3 years ago are so far behind them now. There again most fans know the reason just a shame the board don’t.
I know what you’re talking about, the ref was never going to give that at Ibrox, he was rattled
We are not miles behind rangers and we could have won this game i believed we needed 10 players as the season ended last season with only McGregor and Turnbull plus injured Julien and Forrest worth keeping. i still think progress has been made in a goalkeeper and right back and a decent fast striker in Kyogo.
we still need a left back and 2 centre backs and a top midfielder left sided and another striker.
Unfortunately losing might be the only way this PENNY PINCHING board will support the new Manager.
Yes the manager got it wrong not playing Kyogo thru the middle but why are his coaching team not telling him EDDY did his best work against Rangers from wider left anyway.
Its hard to have a plan B when you dont have the players on the bench to change things.
I thought McGregor had a good game today and also the hard match in Holland told on a small squad in the second half.
Christie and Edouard should be sold but why also do we still have Anjeti and Bollingboli on the payrole
Think you are correct on this hoppy. Didn’t see any replays on it tho.
Indeed they were celebrating him stopping it but in the replay I saw the keeper did not touch the ball kyogo got to it first and the keeper clipped him. We are going to have a season like last with this rangers team getting full support from referees, in many ways they need the league more this year over to you Celtic up your game please.
