He had a great innings at Celtic and that’s all that matters as history will be kinder to Leigh than the current mood.
First player to hit 40goals in a Season since Henke and sits in the top 20 of all time goalscorers at the Club.
Leigh will never have a straightforward life unfortunately because he seems to be hellbent on making sure his life will end in regret rather than happiness at the joy he bring so many when he just got on with what he did best.
I personally don’t think the arrival of Brendan Rodgers did him any good mentally because going from 40 in a Season to bench warmer in such a short space of time would be difficult for most to take let alone someone with a fragile mental state to start with.
