The veteran shot-stopper is currently a free agent following the expiration of his deal at the Hoops and isn’t training with Neil Lennon’s squad at Lennoxtown. Confirming…

We shouldnt forget he has given us 6 years excellent service and cost us nothing to sign. In my view he shouldnt have been third choice but of course that is up to the manager. His current circumstances suggest to me the club aren`t all that keen to resign him anyway maybe hanging on to him as insurance against the possibility of not being able to retain Fraser? Maybe that is why he is a bit disgruntled.

That’s true Jim, just imagine Bain as our only keeper Ouch!! Sorry forgot we have another reserve player at Dundee.

Its a tough one. If we knew The Wall was definitely signing I wouldn’t mind losing him.
That isn’t looking promising at the moment I don’t think.
10k a week tho for a player that might not play is not good either.
I’m no bothered that he cAme out and said what he did. We can be terrible at the contract negotiations sometimes lol

If you were unemployed and applied for a job and had an interview etc and were more or less told the employer was waiting for the first choice to confirm you wouldnt be too happy and would consider your options. I think Craig suspects that if Fraser stays thats the end of it. What does he prefer more money or regular football with a big step down? Surely hes not short of a bob or two, My judgement is clouded as I dont think he should have been third choice.
