I think he wanted to move and Celtic did well to get £2.5m for someone with only 4 months on their contract.
Celtic didn’t think Bournmouth were some farmer’s league club when we wanted their ex-manager and I don’t think we should think of them that way now.
I hope he does well.
To be clear @david.walton never said, or even implied, that Bournmouth are a farmer’s league club.
The best you could say about him is that unlike some others he always gave his best.
Time will tell how his decision will work out.
On the surface of it all it seems a strange one when he could’ve gone to the big boys league.
