I for one wouldnt blame any player who wants to play for his country, especially when there is a chance to qualify for a major tournament. Its true Celtic pay his wages according to his contract which I would have thought doesnt mention anything about refusing to play for your country. Club v country is nothing new and no doubt will crop up again in the future. Bitton declared himself fit to play and at that point was better placed to judge on that than Lennon. Lets hope he and McGregor are ok.
