There is absolutely no excuses for not getting the job done tonight, but then I’m sure Ange wouldn’t offer any.
This season has far exceeded my expectations at the start of it. I’d have settled for appointing a new manager, sorting out the shambles the club was in and a season of stability and rebuilding. I didn’t see us winning anything far less a league & Cup double !
This time last year our great club was waiting for a youngish, limited experience manager finally making a decision to join us. Dragging his heels at every turn. When you think about it, we looked desperate. Celtic FC should never have been in such a ludicrous position, never again.
We are the famous Glasgow Celtic FC not some unknown third rate outfit. We are Celtic.
Ange in under 12 months has given us our self respect back and our title…“Champions of Scotland” is reclaimed. If he does nothing else ever, he’s already earned my eternal gratitude.
