Eddie is an enigma. Holding onto him for the magic 10 seemed like a great bit of business. Unfortunately , like others, his performances has been very disappointing. Has this been due to to the an honest lack of form or something more negative? In any case his performances this season have helped hold us back. The dilemma reminds me of Viduka, on his day fantastic but too many where his head seemed elsewhere. I would take a decent offer now and invest it in a striker that has a stronger work ethic even if less naturally talented. He may go on to develop into a big stage star but on balance, I have my doubts. As for Brenda… this whole shambles started with him…
