I hate to put a dampener on things but I believe this needs to be said. Stating the obvious, Celtic are 1 win away from all but securing the title. I am deeply concerned about all the talk of the windfall from Champions league qualification and who Celtic will be drawn against, as well as potential transfer targets with all this new found wealth.
That kind of talk is tempting fate and does the club no good as it is merely a distraction for the players. Have we all forgotten that The Bhoys still have to play Hearts? They are a good team and they are getting 3 of their top players back for this game, it will not be easy and all this talk of Champions League and title is way too premature. Hearts have been flying under the radar without much of the spotlight.
Ange will definitely be grounding his players and all this talk is not helping anybody least of all the team which you all care about. I used to watch Ange play in his South Melbourne days, and even then he was a no nonsense full back, not flashy, or brilliant, relying and guile and tenacity alone. All this other talk must be incredibly frustrating for him.
