I’m, unfortunately, not a fan of Mikey Johnston.

Looking at who we have at our disposal in terms of wingers/attacking midfielders, I’d happily say he’s bottom of the pile.

The effort Maeda and Abada put in from that position makes them easy first choice. Then you’ve got Haksabanovic and Forrest (when both fully fit) who can add something better to the team. And then there’s even young guys coming through (Vata and Summers) who show more quality than Mikey Johnston.

I wouldn’t be too dejected to see him being cut free to get his career going elsewhere. Maybe his international duty can help us get a bit of money for him too :four_leaf_clover:
