If you thought the prior comments on Celtic star Kyogo and his Premier League ambitions were tiring, it gets worse. Former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor has added his voice to the debate, claiming Kyogo should apologise to the supporters. If our finger and the pulse are in direct contact here, then we’d venture that…
The whole thing is gutter nonsense. It’s just an attempt to unsettle one of our best players before he’s even had a chance to settle. The poor lad was just answering a question posed to him by saying he has to fight for his place at Celtic and for Japan. If he wasn’t so polite he would’ve just told press to stick their question up their erse and stick to questions about Japan.
Anyone thinking that players are coming to Celtic to work their whole career are being a tad naive. Of course we’re far bigger & superior to most clubs down south, but it’s not about playing for Celtic, but more so about the teams we play against that puts off lots of players coming to Celtic…just read the Giroud story that was out today. That’s why when we say that “IF” we played on the EPL and got the riches they get, then lots of players would be desperate to play for the Hoops.
