Once again we have the “asterisk” argument put forward, presumably because it would lead to a footnote saying only 30 matches played due to a pandemic.An incomplete season isn’t ideal however if that`s what happens I for one would be quite happy to see such a scenario after all it would be factual.
If a null and void is declared presumably there would be no prize money so to avoid clubs going bankrupt ex gratia payments would be made and how would they be calculated? on the basis of league positions as would entry into Europe. A classic case of have your cake and eat it!
