England legend and Match Of The Day presenter Gary Lineker has been hyping up the impact of former Celtic hero Odsonne Edouard this afternoon. Edouard came off the bench for Crystal Palace at home to Spurs earlier this afternoon, making his Premier League debut. It took just seconds for him to provide a scoring impact,…
Did not take him long to show off now he’s interested HH.
Seems being nearer the Equator make you run faster.
Just shows how he downed tools and got sold on cheap after using Celtic for exposure yet not respecting fans. Ajer & Ntcham showed little respect also. I blame Sky Sports and their campaign. PR took a major hit after the Celtic boys doc, very damaging.
I love Eddy and always have. The club’s toxicity(ie the board) is to blame for the unhappiness of players. We need a new board. Gutted about Dom leaving. Must have been pretty bad to make him walk. Eddy gave us plenty of great memories and I hope he is back to his best now and more importantly HAPPY!!! HH
Eddy was lazy and downed tools SIMPLE, yes along with some others, but to blame the board, did they pull on the hoops (jersey doesn’t shrink) no. Yeah Doms gone but who knows what went on.
Who cares Ajeti scored two and we move on
Edouard just proved what a hypocrite he is! “I’ve waited a long long time for this” was his comment to the press yesterday after the game! He short changed us for too long and he cost us the recent old firm game with his pathetic performance! Good riddance.
Wow! He can actually run, I had no idea.
Ps. Wait till they’ve had him for a couple of months and he starts taking the hump, goes in the huff, starts to miss sitters, loses the ability to run, tries to skin four or five players before scuffing the shot and starts hanging around the left hand side of the box wondering why goals don’t magically appear every time he touches the ball.
Yes he can run and can smile…imagine that.
My granddaughter could have saved his second.
Spurs down to 10 men, chasing the game in last few minutes meant defensive space.
Let’s see how many he scores in the medium and longer term.
I still think he will struggle….
Time will tell….
Pps. He spent more energy and drive in the last ten or fifteen minutes for Crystal Palace yesterday than he did for the whole 20 21 season for celtic, the team that made his whole future possible! I wish him all the best in his future endeavours but I for one will not be remembering Odsonne Edouard fondly.
