In all honesty, seeing the line up to start the game, I was appalled to see Bitton starting!

Have happily chewed on my words and saw that Ange made a good call including Nir to calm our midfield down.

Not long left now guys, let’s hope we get our league championship back soon enough :four_leaf_clover:

With Bitton, the trouble comes when we are up against a team who carry the game to us, that’s when his lack of pace and mobility are exposed.
But in a game like today he can be brilliant. He plays well on those artificial surfaces, and there is nobody better at recycling the ball when we are dominating possession. Never anything fancy, just always available to take the pressure off and link the play up.
Great to see Maeda get that goal, he needed it. And that’s Forrest scored for us 13 seasons in a row. What a record.
