There’s over 10,000 miles between Glasgow and Griffith, New South Wales, the birthplace of Celtic and Australia star Tom Rogic. That’s long enough at the best of times. G’day Euan,
Just want to clarify that Tom Rogic hails from Griffith, Australian Capital Territory (ACT) and not Griffith, New South Wales (NSW).
Griffith ACT is a suburb of the national capital, Canberra.
Griffith NSW is a small inland city of around 25,000 located in the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area (MIA) famous for irrigated farms, vineyards, wineries, organised crime (Calabrian 'Ndrangheta mafia familes), illegal cannabis cultivation, drug distribution, the unsolved 1977 murder of anti-drugs campaigner Donald Mackay and stinking hot summers. I live in Wagga Wagga, NSW 190kms away just ‘down the road’ from Griffith, NSW.
