Why didn’t Gio train with his former side in pre season? I understand the VVV were relegated, was it just a simple case of him having one foot out the door? That because of the relegation he was going somewhere, anywhere & VVV weren’t prepared to find his pre season, or did he have a clause to say he could leave in case of relegation? Seems a touch unusual or maybe I’m just out of touch with how things are done.

Seems unfair on GG. He looked a threat when he got a go. Hopefully this isn’t another player ruined by fan impatience .
