"I love this"; Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou responds to critics

Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou knows he’s being doubted by corners of the media and critics of the club. Yet, this is absolutely how he wants it. The Greek-Aussie manager needed time to turn Brisbane Roar and Yokohama F Marinos from middling sides to league champions. That’s exactly what he did, with a brand of football…

Let’s hope Ange has the bottle to ride this storm and not let the media get to him.

He knows he is the guy telling the players what to do on the training ground and then picking a team to play our matches, the media do not help with that - merely draw negatives to be fair.

Ange will have his lovers and haters at the minute but what we have to take on board is that he has taken over a very broken ship. He has done well to move on the ones who did not want to be there, we now have to give him time to build a strong winning unit again.

It is frustrating watching the others over the city lauding it up for being the current “top” team. That was not Ange’s doing though. Mr Lawwell and co have made that happen by slipping up time and time again in the transfer windows to make us miles beyond anyone in our league.

Our attacking game can hurt teams, defensively we need to work harder but overall our rebuild will never take as long as the RIFC 2012. We will be back :four_leaf_clover:
