Celtic v Motherwell was an opportunity for Neil Lennon. Ultimately, the Lurgan-born Celtic legend is re-auditioning for his job. After the Bhoys’ depressing collapse this season, he’s making the case for staying on. Under him, he hopes, Celtic can find positives, build for the future. He’s found a tactic that (usually) works. And so on.…
We won…but it wasn’t much cop. Lennon still shouldn’t be manager next season
Same problems as usual. Not taking our chances and looking fragile and all over the place defensively. Still not good enough against a poor Motherwell side.
Agreed on the pressing. So much better. We do need players in who are game changers. Ones who will take on and beat players, instead of passing and slowing play down, I’d like to see Mikey start.
Kelly played a great first half and there’s potential with him and DT. Great link up work. Must have run out of gas in the second half, because he didn’t make as many runs.

says it all
but my fellow celts are happy we got 3 points
points keeps Lennon at the Club, gives the board vindication of there support of him .
Chat in the boardroom , will be , ahh we have had a shaky season , but Neil is finishing strong , lets renew his contract, no need to spend big on a new manager
Things as bad as they are needs to get worse to get the needed reaction from DD & PL
