Celtic winger Marian Shved clearly wants out of the club after his comments back in his homeland of Ukraine. Indeed, the former Karpaty Lviv winger stated that he was given an opportunity with loan club Mechelen that he was never given at Celtic. He told Tribuna that he wants to stay in Belgium, where he…

He didn’t seem to take offense when the Mechelen manager labeled him a lazy little s#%te who needs to train harder & drop the attitude (I’m paraphrasing, but he did cop a serve from their gaffer). I wonder why he got such a case of the sniffles when Celtic more or less told him the same thing, seems a bit a diva tbh, very thin skinned which may not lend itself well to being in the spotlighting Glasgow. I’ve always held out hope that he’d come back & push for a place & give Jamesey some competition but he seems like a bit of a d#%k

I’m actually disappointed it hasn’t worked out I remember week in week out shouting for him to start, he looked a class act before he signed then he signed then nothing, really sad

You forgot the head bit. I remember Forrest getting the hump with Paddy Roberts, and having to interchange wings a lot. But he got used to that? Yes, Shved isn’t as good as the aforementioned, but if he’s given the time he could be. I wouldn’t call an eight-goal assist as an impressive campaign, more not as bad as it could have been. And what our board/Manager should do with all loan players is have a claw-back added. Then we would’ve seen for ourselves how good or humpy he is.

The likes of Shved, Soro, Welsh, Taylor, Bayo, Ajeti, Connell, Johnston, Henderson, Dembélé, O’Connor, Montgomery, Hjelde, Okoflex and Afolabi are all young players that should be excited at the prospect of Postecoglou becoming manager.

It is quite exciting to think about the these players getting more opportunities next season under a manager that has a reputation of giving young players first team football.
