You can’t deny Saturday saw a massive blunder from Celtic striker Giorgos Giakoumakis. A penalty-kick to go top of the Premiership and extend our winning run to 6 games. He stepped up and produced a poor attempt that was easily saved by Max Stryjek. He would then miss another golden opportunity at the death when…
I honestly think everyone had overreacted to last Saturday’s draw, aye it’s 2 dropped points never good at any time, but we are still on an unbeaten run, still keeping clean sheets and still dominating games. We will drop points , this is a new team, new system, new manager and we are in no way unbeatable. I am confident about Thursday goin in on a 6 match unbeaten run, livi are a bogey team and I think the panic and criticism has been over the top. I have faith in this team and Ange, picture where we were at this time last season, the wheels were falling off the bus big time, we have improved massively and will continue to once Ange finds his settled system, keep the faith and go easy, we’re all on the one road.
There is no doubt that Giakoumakis will be on the next penalty and he will more than likely sink it, then all this negativity will disappear as if the livingstone miss never happened. H.H🍀
Pundits reporters would be punters would be reporters in the net not celtic supporters and the ones that count who will cheer every goal he scores and every time his name is read out before the game he will be a great asset team started slowly and never got up to third gear that’s the worry
Top scorer in the Dutch league with a team that got relegated, he’s only just got up to speed in our league 3-4 months from now he will probably be on double figures and livi game just a memory albeit a bad one. HH
Oh the LIVY MISS HAPPENED …
Ok to be fair the problem is not the miss it is the fact that the team had done well to get themselves back into real striking distance of the HUNS and blew it… This is why there is so much focus on the miss …
Then of course the 2nd chance he had at the death had that went in yep it would have been ‘what penalty’ unfortunately for him it did not and hence the penalty miss is magnified ten fold …
However it was collectively an abject performance by all except Ralston …
Lets hope they turn it on on Thursday night …
