After such a long layoff he, quite rightly, was never going to be in contention.
We would’ve been going mental if he had.
We need him re introduced to the Celtic team in a way that minimises any further injury issues.
His great career this far has been significantly hampered by injury.
Given the intensity of the new playing style we might see him being used in a more careful manner.
