@ Euan. Again; little was expected of Hart this season, and I write that with the utmost respect. But if he’d taken in another year of Premier League football as a back-up, few would’ve batted an eyelid.

Instead, he’s bought into the culture at Celtic, his displays have been excellent, he’s giving on and off-field leadership and he’s helping the club to bring in players in key positions.

For a £1m signing, that’s a lot of value. Never a few truer words said Euan, I just don’t get the AZ blip? I thought it was the hospital pass that made it bad not his decision to try to get to it, to help a defender out?

To be honest, mate, I’ve watched it so many times and I’m still uncertain. I’d say both Welsh and Hart were probably both at fault, but we got through the tie anyway!

Welsh’s chest contact was light and Hart’s feet got stuck…. Two individual errors which together resulted in a goal conceded.

Hart has never been that great with the ball at feet. Given the fashion for sweeper keepers he’s obviously unattractive to high end English teams.

Their lost is our gain but I must admit to an intake of breath when he’s fixing his feet out…:sweat_smile:
