John Hartson believes the club has to make a public statement as a show of support to manager Ange Postecoglou. Postecoglou has had a difficult few months at the start of his Celtic career, having to deal with multiple factors outside of his control while putting a winning team on the park. He’s drawn criticism…
As long as they are actually backing him in the market it doesn’t matter.
Which incidentally they have done.
Seems to me those who spend all their time passing comment on him via the medium of the media (and Social Media alike) need their own egos stroking or opinions validated.
Only those with a great deal of naivety believed this transitional period would be done and dusted over a few weeks and games.
Who listens to them anyway
Manager doing the same old Celtic problem , telling the fans early they have loads of transfer targets in mind , then slowly the names are released, the price goes up , we pull out and buy third rate ■■■■ , I’m glad I stopped buying all club-related merchandise and I won’t until the board acknowledges the fans and do what’s needed to make our club great again, they couldn’t build from a position of strength so not holding my breath , it DOESNT make me less of a supporter or the hurt any less when we lose to inferior opponents.Hail Hail
Lawwell and his associates on the board have set AP for a fall with dumb and dumber waiting to take over. AP is not stupid he took the job under the inner sanctums terms knowing that if he was successful in a 50/50 contest he would be away at the drop of a hat to the EPL with his own backroom staff brought over from the far East. It is a punt to nothing for AP but have no doubt JK will be in charge before the winters over with Strachan snr thrown in for good measure.
