I don’t remember Johnston’s end product being a problem when he had a good run in the team in previous campaigns. The issue for me was that he wasn’t physically strong enough for the Glasgow derby and was too easily marked out of big games. He looks a bit stronger now, so hopefully he’s added that physicality to his game because he really is an exciting player. Fingers crossed he raises his game with the likes of Jota and Kyogo around.
